Dear AOA Colleagues,
On behalf of the entire Conference Planning Committee, I am privileged to send the first of many invitations to join us for the 2017 AOA Annual Conference. The Conference will be held January 8th through 11th at the tropical island retreat of Paradise Point located in beautiful San Diego.
Our theme for this Conference is "Partners in Achieving Student Success." While AOA properly identifies itself as being a partner in supporting the CSU, we hope to focus our next conference on highlighting the important primary student-focused mission of the CSU — which is what we do so well throughout the year.
Maximizing the hallmarks of our previous conferences, the Committee is dedicated to again deliver inspiring keynote and general sessions, while allowing valuable networking opportunities through track-specific educational sessions and interactions with Chancellors Office personnel and our important Business Partners.
The Educational Sessions are the core of the Conference and our Business Partners provide the critical sponsorships that enable us to continually produce a value-driven quality event. If you have an idea for a particular presentation, a session topic or an impactful presenter, please contact our Session Planning Chair, Taren Mulhause, at email@example.com. Also, if you use or know of a product or service provider who would benefit from participating as an AOA Business Partner, please contact our Business Partner Chair, Fred Neely, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration and the hotel room block will open in August and the Committee will be posting developing program information on a regular basis throughout the year. Be sure to follow us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/csuaoa) and on your AOA Mobile App for the most up-to-the-minute conference updates and information.
If at any time you have questions about or suggestions for the Conference please feel free to contact me at email@example.com. I look forward to our time together this coming January in San Diego.
Until then, serve our students well
