It's almost time...

Dear AOA Members:

Welcome to AOA's 2013 Annual Conference webpage. Embracing the theme, Supporting the Educational Mission of California's State Universities, we will continue to provide excellent opportunities for training, professional development, and networking for all our members over a wide variety of educational tracks that include:

WHAT: Here are some scheduled highlights of the conference agenda:

  • Wednesday – Extended standing committee meetings (1PM - 5PM), followed by the traditional "No-Tie" Banquet featuring Chancellor Reed;
  • Thursday – Morning General Session featuring Executive Vice-Chancellor Quillian; Super-Sessions; Concurrent Sessions; Dinner on your own with Business Partners and AOA Colleagues;
  • Friday – Super Sessions and Concurrent Sessions; Business Partner Lunch; President's Reception/Dinner;
  • Saturday – Concurrent Session and Closing Keynote Speaker, Adjourn at noon

WHERE: The Langham Huntington, just minutes from downtown Los Angeles in beautiful Pasadena.

WHEN: We will be meeting January 16 - 19, 2013. Please note this is Wednesday through Saturday, which is a departure from our usual meeting schedule.

WHY: Because this is the only conference that focuses entirely on topics and issues relevant to AOA members, our campuses, and the CSU.

HOW: To help you plan budget-wise, the hotel room rate is $169 (plus state and local taxes) and the early bird registration fee has been set at $395. We are planning on registration opening up in September 2012, and will be posting detailed program information on a regular basis, so please stay tuned for future communications.
